FKCCI makes plea for tourism infrastructure improvement

Bangalore, Nov 18 (UNI) The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) today welcomed the State Government's initiative to frame a new tourism policy intended to exploit the rich but untapped potential of the state.

FKCCI President R C Purohit appealed the Tourism Department to take inputs from all stake-holders, including the chamber, and create better infrastructural facilities to attract more tourists.

The chamber would extend all co-operation, including its members participation in public-private projects to promote new destinations, while strengthening the existing ones, he added.
