Gwalior, Nov 18 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said dacoit and naxalite-infested areas of the state would be developed and employment opportunities would be generated.
Mr Chouhan met family members of those killed by dacoit Gadaria gang in Karayra recently at Ghatigaon block here and Bandapura village in Morena district.
Later, he told reporters the government intended to eliminate those responsible for the crime as early as possible.

Promising funds will not be allowed to be a problem in naxalite-infested areas, Mr Chouhan said necessary resources, including helicopter, will be provided if required.
On suggestion from Congress leaders regarding obtaining help from the Centre and deployment of the Army, he said there was no need for doing so and said leaders of opposition parties must not play politics over the death of innocent people.
He said victims and needy people in dacoit-infested areas would be provided licenses to keep weapons.
On Sachchar Committee report, Mr Chouhan said all the decisions of the Supreme Court will be followed.
On Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Narendra Sing Tomar being made the next state BJP president, he said the decision will be taken after organisational elections on November 20 and 21.
Regarding former Chief Minister Uma Bharti's claim she possessed the formula for eliminating dacoits in the region, the Chief Minister described these claims as ''baseless'' and refused to comment upon it.
