CPI(Maoist) hardcore arrested

Bokaro, Nov 18 (UNI) Police today arrested a hardcore CPI(Maoist) ultra from Uparghat under Nawadih Police station area in district of Jharkhand.

Suprintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia here said that police nabbed Vijay Hansda, activist of the proscribed outfit, during raids being conducted in the naxal prone areas in this district.

Mr Singh said the ultra was involved in rifle loot cases of Chandrapura and Giridih and many other operations by extremists.
