Child rights week celebrated

Hyderabad, Nov 18 (UNI) As part of the 'Do Karma Movement' an initiative by 'Big Indian', to empower under privileged women, Chidren and families across the country, 'Child Rights' week was celebrated at Government Boys Primary School here today.

Ayush Maheshwari-popularly known here as 'Big Indian', the man behind the 'Do Karma Movement' said about 450 children were involved in the celebrations which included activities conducted by I-vantage employees or 'Karma Yatris' and their children-'Karma Yuvas' , for energising, empowering and educating the under privileged children as well as activities for empowering the teachers.

He said the 'DO Karma Movement' aims to empower under privileged women, children and families across the country through various initiatives implemented during the 'Karma Yatra' process in quarterly competitive cycles by corporates.

The fund for the programme was collected by Children themselves through collection process and had been doubled by 'Big Indian' and 'Do Karma Foundation'.
