BJP providing protection to anti-social elements: Uma

Jabalpur, Nov 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti today alleged that the Madhya Pradesh Government was providing protection to anti-social elements and insecurity prevailed among people as a result.

''In the coming future, the condition of the BJP in the state will be similar to that in Uttar Pradesh given the misuse of government machinery and support of violence taken during recent Vidisha and Bada Malehra by-elections,'' Ms Bharti told reporters here.

She said for the first time in almost 20 years of politics, she was saying her life was in danger in Madhya Pradesh.

The sanyasin alleged that BJP President Rajnath Singh went to take lunch at the home of the main accused, three days after attack on her during Malehra by-poll.

She said this proved that the BJP was trying to protect the culprit.
