Bellary ex-Deputy Mayor arrested

Belgaum, Karnataka, Nov 18 (UNI) Police today arrested former Deputy Mayor of Belgaum City Municipal Corporation following the Centre filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court, rejecting Maharashtra's claim in the border row with Karnataka yesterday.

Police sources said it was just a preventive arrest.
