5 IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, Nov 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

An official release said here D P Sinha (waiting list) has been posted as DG UP Fire Services, while R K Chaturvedi commandant 47th PAC battalion is SSP Saharanpur.

Dawa Sherpa, who was earlier SP Sitapur and was yesterday shunted to 8th battalion PAC as commandant, has been made SP Ballia, while earlier incumbent Iqramulhaq is the new SP ATC Sitapur.

Similarly, Rajesh Kumar Rai SSP Etah has been attached to the state DGP office here.

Meanwhile, 27 PPS officers were also transferred in the administrative shake-up.
