22nd All India Prize Money Indira Marathon tomorrow

Allahabad, Nov 18 (UNI) The 22nd All India Prize Money Indira Marathon would be held here tomorrow.

The marathon, which is organised by the Uttar Pradesh sports directorate and district administration every year on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi would be flagged off by UP Chief Secretary Sports Srikrishna from the historic Anand Bhawan.

The 42.195 km marathon would be concluded at the Madan Mohan Malviya stadium, where UP Sports Minister R K Chaudhary reward the winners.

The total prize money of the marathon is Rs 4.52 lakh, where the first prize is of 1.1 lakh, second prize of Rs 50,000, while the third prize is of Rs 20,000. There are 11 consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each.

Meanwhile, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the event.
