14 Gujjars caught in snow storm rescued in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today rescued 14 Gujjars who were caught in a snow storm in south Kashmir after heavy snowfall, officials said.
They said an information was received that a group of Gujjars was caught in a snow storm at upper reaches in Shopian area of south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
The entire area has been receiving heavy snowfall since yesterday.
Officials said a police party was rushed to the area to rescue the Gujjars who were on move to plains alongwith their sheeps and goats.
They were brought down to safer places, officials said.
