Yarn Expo-2006 to begin tomorrow

Surat, Nov 17 (UNI) A specialised exhibition of yarn and related products, organised by Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), will begin here tomorrow, SGCCI president Pravin Nanavati said.

The exhibition, which will be organised at Gateway Hotel premises will be inaugurated by Praful Shah, chairman of Garden Silks Mills Limited.

As part of the three-day exhibition a seminar on 'Polyster-a world of opportunities,' and a Workshop on 'Woven technical textile and its processing' will be organised tomorrow.

On Sunday, there will be another seminar on 'New trends in textiles'.

On Monday, a seminar on ''Embroidery -2006'' will be conducted, SGCCI president Pravin Nanavat said in a release.

More than 20 prominent industrial groups will participate in the yarn exhibition, SGCCI president added.
