Two Maoists killed in an encounter in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Nov 17 (UNI) At least two Maoists were killed in an encounter with police at Harladih village under Peertand police station in Giridih district today.

The Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh told UNI that none from the security personnel was injured in the encounter. However, to of the accomplice managed to escape.

Prior the encounter the security forces foiled the ultras' attempt to explode landmine and can bomb in the area.

About 35 km from here can bomb was recovered, he added.
