Two killed in house collpase

Chennai, Nov 17 (UNI) Two people were killed and as many boys injured in two different incidents of wall collapse due to overnight rain in Tirunelveli and Vellore Districts of Tamil Nadu.

Police said Susai Kani (35) and his sons Irudayaraj (11) Jesuraj (9) were asleep, when a portion of the wall collapsed on them at Pandarakulam village near Kadayam in Tirunelveli district.

While Susaikani was killed on the spot, the two boys were admitted to the Government Hospital, Ambasamuthiram, police added.

In a similar incident, a 70-year-old man was killed at Somalapuram village in Vellore district. The man, Rathnam, was rushed to Government Medical College hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
