Tulsi Tanti bags ''E

Mumbai, Nov 17 (UNI) One of the leading wind power companies Suzlon Energy Chairman Tulsi Tanti has won the current year's Ernest&Young (E&Y) Entrepreneur award.

The award was handed over to him by Union Minister of Commerce Kamal Nath in a function held here last evening.

Tata Consultancy Services CEO S Ramadorai was named Manager Entrepreneur of the year at the function.

While Vedanta Resources founder and CEO Anil Agrawal was given the manufacturing category award, Pantaloon Retail MD Kishore Biyani bagged the service category award.

Some of the other awardees at the function include Fianancial Technologies (Business Transformation) MD Jignesh Shah, Dainik Bhasakr Group MD Girish Agrawal, SKS Microfinance Founder and CEO Vikram Akula (Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year) and others.

According to E&Y country managing partner Rajiv Memani, each of the winners has built business with immense passion, explored new avenues, created jobs and added vibrancy to the economy.
