TRS President files nomination for Karimnagar LS seat

Karimnagar, Nov 17 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president and former Union Labour Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today filed his nomination papers for byelection to the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat.

Mr Chandrasekhara Rao along with his supporters came to the Collectorate and filed his nomination papers.

Later, talking to reporters, he said if the Congress continued to argue that it was committed to the formation of Second States Reorganisation Commission (SRC), its candidate will lose the deposit money as well.

While Congress had fielded its MLA T Jeevan Reddy, BJP has put up former Union Minister Ch Vidyasagar Rao for the bypoll. The opposition TDP had fielded former MP L Ramana.

The byelections to Bobbili and Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituencies would be held on December four.
