Travel on Ranchi road makes you older, High Court

Ranchi, Nov 17 (UNI) More you travel in Ranchi, more your hair turn grey.

That was what Jharkhand High Court's reaction to the deteriorating road condition here.

The court today said, '' If you travel 10 km by road in Ranchi you become older. '' Annoyed with the sorry state of affairs, the court directed the state government to file a timeframe affidavit by December 8 in connection with proper supply of water, electricity and road in the state capital.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Muthusamy Karpagavinaygam and Justice N N Tiwary passed the order while hearing PIL filed by the "Citizen's Cause", a voluntary organisation.

The court taking a serious view of the matter wanted to know within what time the work of lying of pipes would be completed.
