Three officials arrested for taking bribe in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested three government officials in three seperate incidents when they were accepted bribe from the complainants.

According to official release here, R Lakshman, senior administrative manager of the State Pollution Control Board, when he was accepted a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant at his residence.

In another case B Subba Reddy, Deputy Executive Engineer, Ground Water Department was arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.

The two officials would be produced before Special Judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad.

In Chittoor district, S Bhaskar Reddy, work inspector in the State Housing Corporation was arrested by the ACB officials for accepting Rs 1,000 as bribe from the complainant to do an official favour.

The Inspector would be produced before Special Judge for ACB cases, Nellore, the release added.
