TDP demands to reconstruct demolished place of worship

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) The oppostion Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded that the state government reconstruct the place of worship, which was demolishied by the municipal authorities as part of a road widening programme at Tadipathri in Anantapur district, yesterday.

Addressing the press here, TDP spokesperson M V Mysoora Reddy alleged that the state government had forgotten the development of the minority communities who were facing problems due to non-availability of government assistance and was trying to create communal tension in the state.

Demanding that the government arrest the people responsible behind the demolition, Mr Reddy alleged that the government was trying to hurt the sentiments of the minority people.
