School HM cutting students' hair invites wrath of parents

Hubli, Nov 17 (UNI) The head mistress of an English medium school at Gadag town allegedly gave a haircut personally to 30 of her students, leading to a dharna in front of the school by the parents and activists of the Kannada Rakshana Vedike today.

According to police, the head mistress had ordered the children to come to school after getting their hair cut on Wednesday last.

When she found the students coming to school without having a haircut yesterday, she took a scissors and did the job herself.

Education department officials, who visited the school, assured the agitating parents that action would be initiated against the head mistress.
