Satluj Hydropower corporation gets nod for 366 MW projects

Dehra Dun, Nov 17 (UNI) Satluj Hydro-Power Corporation would expend Rs 1800 crore for three 366 Megawatt projects in Uttaranchal, said H K Sharma, Chairman, Managing Director of the Corporation.

Mr Sharma said the Uttaranchal government has given a nod to the Corporation to initiate three projects including 300 MW Devsari Hydro-Power Project, 33 MW Jhakol Sankri and 33 MW Natwar Mori Hydro-Power Projects.

He apprised that the primary research work has been started to finish the projects in possible short time.

He said the Corporation was also trying to get sanction for other projects here from Uttaranchal Government. The Satluj Hydro-Power Corporation after its successful Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Projects in Himachal Pradesh is working on six Projects in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.
