PG student commits suicide in hostel room

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) A post-graduate girl student from Delhi allegedly committed suicide by consuming cynide in her hostel room of the Hyderabad Central University today.

Police said inmates of the hostel found 22-year-old-girl Harishma Bavan, pursuing PG in Bio-Chemistry lying and immediately informed the varsity authorites.

The authorities rushed Ms Bavan to a corporate hospital where the doctors declared dead on arrival. Later, the body was taken to the Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem, police said.
