Night temp above normal; rains likely at several places

Pune, Nov 17 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Gujrat state, Marathwada, Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka.

While temperatures were above normal in Arunachal Pradesh and in some parts of Konkan and Goa, north Chattisgarh, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Gujrat State.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Jammu and Kashmir fore were data were sparse.

Heavy rains are likely to occure at many places in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or snow are likely to occure at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Rayalseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujrat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rain have occured at isolated places in Rayalseema, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at a few places in Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Gujrat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.
