NBWs issued against Raja Bhaiyya, kin cancelled
Pratapgarh, Nov 17 (UNI) A local court today cancelled the non-bailable warrants (NBWs) issued against Uttar Pradesh food and civil supplies minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias 'Raja Bhaiyya', his father Uday Pratap Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Akshay Pratap Singh.
The NBWs were issued on November 10 for contempt of court.
Meanwhile, Raja Bhaiyya's father was today released from district prison after he secured bail from the Bhopal High Court.
Uday Pratap Singh had been lodged in jail after he was convicted by the POTA court in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The minister, his father and cousin Akshay appeared before the court of Kunda judicial magistrate Naresh Kumar, who cancelled the NBWs issued against them earlier.
Two cases are pending against the trio at Kunda and Nawabganj police stations for indulging in violence and issuing life threats.
