Nalgonda dist bags ISO-9001 certification

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today congratulated Nalgonda District Collector for winning the ISO-9001 certification.

Nalgonda was the second in the state to win the ISO certification for evolving quality management system of the District Collector Office, for providing government administrative services at Nalgonda Collectorate.

Eight quality management principles under this were customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationship.

An official relase here said it was aimed at ensuring effective, transparent and foolproof delivery system through regular quality audits and management reviews for increased public satisfaction by timely delivery of committed services.
