Kapur tied 18th after 2nd round of Dunlop Phoenix Tournament
Miyazaki, Japan, Nov 17 (UNI) Shiv Kapur came up with a second successive level-par card to be tied for the 18th spot after the second round of the Japan Golf Tour's season-ending 1.6 million dollar Dunlop Phoenix Tournament here today.
The Indian has a total of level-par 140 after two rounds, eight shots behind leader Tiger Woods, who carded an impressive five-under 65.
A 10th tee starter, Shiv stumbled to a bogey on the 12th but recovered to fire consecutive birdies on the 13th and 14th. However, a dropped shot on the 15th meant that Shiv made the turn even-par.
Coming back to play his front-nine, Shiv did not start very brightly and dropped a shot on the second. But he saved himself from an over-par finish by sinking in a birdie on the fourth.
Meanwhile, at the top, Woods is being followed a shot behind Irishman Padraig Harrington (66).
