JD(S) may use muscle and money power in by-polls: Congress

Mysore, Nov 17 (UNI) The Karnataka Congress today apprehanded that ruling Janata Dal(S) may unleash money and muscle power, and misuse official machinery in the bypolls for Chamundeshwari assembly segment.

Addressing a public meeting here, KPCC President Mallikarjun Kharge asked the party workers to expose the designs of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. The JD(S) and the BJP had come to an unholy alliance in the state just to enjoy power and swindle money and was not committed to work for the welfare of the people of the state.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting M H Ambareesh said the vindictive politics played by father-son due of H D Devegowda and Kumaraswamy would lead to weakening of JD(S).

Congress candidate Siddramaiah said he was banking on people's power and not money and muscle power like Mr Gowda and Mr Kumaraswamy.
