Hightemp Furnaces opens new manufacturing facility in B'lore

Bangalore, Nov 17 (UNI) The city-based Hightemp Furnaces Ltd has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility here to augment the company's furnace manufacturing capability to meet its Automotive OEM clients' requirement of heat treatment furnaces.

A joint venture with Dowa Mining Co Ltd of Japan, Hightemp Furnaces had within 15 years of its inception become the single largest commercial heat treatment company in India, apart from being a furnace builder of international repute.

The services offered cover a wide spectrum -- atmosphere-controlled furnaces, controlled-atmosphere brazing furnaces, metal heat treatment, high-speed stressieving and tempering, metal finishing and intensive quench technology, the company said in a release here today.

The company, with a turnover of Rs 85 crore, had six facilities in India and had embarked upon an expansion programme to set up six more heat treatment centres in two years, the release said.
