Godown gutted in fire

Jamshedpur, Nov 17 (UNI) A godown was reduced to ashes when a major fire broke out at Tuiladungri under Sakchi police station here today.

Police said five fire tenders took about two hours to douse the flame.

The godown was packed with inflammable materials like foam and the fire was caused by electrical short circuit, police said.

Property worth more lakhs of rupees were gutted in the fire.

No casualty was, however, reported, police added.
