Gandhian social activist ends satyagraha

Surat, Nov 17 (UNI) Gandhian social activist Padma Bhushan Purnima Pakwasa ended her 10-day hunger strike yesterday at Saputara, for securing 15 acres of land for a non-governmental organisation run by her.

According to Ritambara Vishwa Vidyapith (RVV) sources, Ms Pakwasa concluded her satyagraha after talks between Deepchand Gardi, president of RVV Trust and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, sources added.
