Father kills minor son

Rourkela, Nov 17 (UNI) In a shocking incident a father killed his six-year-old son after a quarrel with his wife.

Police said Mahmed Sabir(28) of Gopabandhupalli under plantsite police station area, having a criminal record, killed his son Sakim on the night of November 15.

The police recovered the body yesterday.

Sabir forcibly took away his son following a quarrel with his wife and killed him with a sharp weapon. The body was found in the compound wall of Patitapaban School.

The police have recovered the weapon used by Sabir to commit the crime near the school compound. They sent the body for post mortem.

Sabir, however, fled after committing the crime.
