Deadly floods hit Afghanistan, hundreds homeless
Herat (Afghanistan), Nov 17: At least 15 people are dead and more than 100 missing after heavy flooding in northwestern Afghanistan, officials said today.

Another 150 houses have been destroyed in neighbouring Herat province, but there were no reports of casualties yet.
A Spanish provincial reconstruction team from the NATO mission has been despatched to the worst-hit parts of Badghis, where more than 5,000 head of livestock have also died, Tokhi said.
