DD Annual Awards to be presented tomorrow.

Jalandhar, Nov 17 (UNI) The 6th Doordarshan Annual Awards would be presented at the DD Jalandhar Kendra Open Air Theatre here tomorrow.

Talking to reporters, DD Director General Liladhar Mandloi said Jnanpeeth Awardee Gurdial Singh would be the chief guest at the function.

Prasar Bharati Board Member R N Bisaria would be the guest of honour while Prasar Bharati Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Brijeshwar Singh would preside over the function.

A galaxy of artistes, celebrities and TV personalities including Sanjeevani Belande, Hansraj Hans, Zubeen Garg, Raju Srivastav, Harbhajan Mann, Gurdas Mann, Jaspinder Narula, Jasbir Jassi and Naresh Iyer would participate in the function.

The awards are being given in 44 categories, including tele play, documentary and docu-drama, live event and OB, animation, graphics, spot promo, children, women, serial and soap opera, TV show, music and sciene and technology and Wild Life and environment, editing, sound, news and current affairs, Mr Mandloi said.
