Congress agrees on No Confidence move with Trinamool
Kolkata, Nov 17(UNI) The possibility of an all-opposition move for No Confidence motion against the Left Front Government in the West Bengal Assembly hung in balance today with the Trinamool Congress giving a second thought to the move it proposed even though the Congress was ready to go ahead.
The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) today decided to bring a No Confidence motion together with the Trinamool Congress against the Left Front Government for its ''all round failure'' in the state.
'' The CLP has unanimously decided the proposal for a united move to bring No Confidence motion against the Government. We think the Left Government is being run undemocratically,'' CLP Leader Manas Bhunia told reporters after a meeting.
He said the decision was taken following a request by Trinamool Congress Legislature Party leader Partha Chatterjee a few days ago.
However, in an interesting development, the Trinamool Congress said it was in the process of considering whether to move a No Confidence or any other motion in the state Assembly which began for a two-week session today.
'' We proposed the Congress, SUCI, GNLF and Jharkhand Party to move together a No Confidence motion against the Government. But we will take a decision in the next few days whether we will go for a motion,'' TCLP Leader Partha Chatterjee said.
