Class 10 student, engaged by let, arrested in Doda
Jammu, Nov 17 (UNI) A class 10 student, allegedly deputed by Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (Let) militant outfit to lob grenades -- particularly on vips -- during Ramzan, was arrested today in Doda district of jammu and kashmir, a senior police official said.
Senior superintendent of police (Doda) Manohar Singh said Bashir Ahmed, Alias Nika of Koti village was, Deputed by let militants to target civilians and some vips when they visited mosques to offer Namaz during Ramzan.
However, he could not execute the job due to heavy deployment of security forces around the mosque, the SSP said.
Further interrogation, were on to ascertain the links of the boy with the militant outfit, Mr Singh added.
