Chitradurga records lowest temperature of 18.3 degree celsius

Bangalore, Nov 17 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded here at 0830 hours today.

The rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Minimum tempereatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Chitradurga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.3 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until the Sunday morning : Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers forecast : Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Kolar, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast : Generally cloudy. A spell of light rain likely.

Minimum temperature would be around 19 degree celsius.
