Centre grants Rs 48 lakh to DRDA Pondicherry

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) The Union Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned Rs 48 lakh as Grants-in-aid to the Pondicherry District Rural Development Agency (DRDA)towards the second instalment of Central Share for the year 2006-07.

The funding pattern under the scheme will be 100 per cent central share for UTs. The utilisation of funds should be in accordance with the DRDA administration guidelines, which includes holding of at least one meeting of the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee at the state and district level.
