'Anything outside Indo-US N deal, not acceptable'
New Delhi, Nov 17: India will not accept anything in the Indo-US Nuclear deal which is outside the July 18 agreement, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi said today.
Answering questions after her inaugural speech at the annual 'Hindustan Times Leadership Summit,' Ms Gandhi said the position of the Congress and that of the UPA was that all those areas, which are not acceptable, should not be included.
She was asked to comment on the US Senate having passed the Bill.
''We welcome it. I don't know...The government will study and formulate a response,'' she added.
''The Congress position and that of the UPA is that nothing will be acceptable which is outside the 18th July agreement...All those areas which are not acceptable to us, they should not be included,'' she added.
