40-member Kerala team for Asia Karate tourney

Kozhikode, Nov 17 (UNI) A 40-member team from Kerala would participate in the first Asia WUKO Continental Open Karate Championships-2006 to be held at Visakhapatnam from November 23.

Kerala State Budokkan Karate Association president and Indian team coach C P Arif would head the team, KSBKA office bearers told reporters here today.

As many as 2000 participants from 20 countries are expected to participate in the 4-day event, they said.
