14 candidates file nominations for Pandhana by-poll
Bhopal, Nov 17 (UNI) BJP nominee Devandra Verma today filed their nomination for the December 4 by-election to the Pandhana assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.
On the last day of filing nomination today, six candidates, including Mr Verma, filed their nomination.
A total of 14 candidates had filed their nomination for by-election to the assembly seat. The Congress had fielded former minister Hiralal Silawat for election to the assemnly constituency.
Scrutiny will take place on November 18, while the names could be withdrawn latest by November 20. Counting of votes will be done on December 7.
The by-election was necessitated following the murder of BJP legislator Kishorilal Verma.
