Woman killed in hotel

Indore, Nov 16 (UNI) In a gruesome murder, a woman was stabbed to death by a man at a city hotel, where the duo had arrived yesterday, police said today.

The duo claimed to be a couple and the man introduced himself as Bhopal-resident Manoj Agrawal.

Police said both had a quarrel in afternoon and hotel employees overheard them.

In the evening, when no voice was heard and the door was not opened for a long time, police were called.

On breaking the door, police found the room splattered with blood, while the duo were drenched in blood. The woman had died and the man, whose real name is Mukesh Jain, was seriously injured and admitted to hospital.

Both hailed from Gangwal bus stand area in the state capital.

A case of murder and rape was registered against the man. Police were investigating into various aspects of the case.
