Two candidates file nomination for Pandhana by-poll

Bhopal, Nov 16 (UNI) Two candidates today filed their nomination for the December 4 by-election to Pandhana assembly constituency.

Official sources said Congress nominee Hiralal Silawat and Mr Navneet Gajbhajiye (Gondwana Ganatantra Party) filed their nomination today.

State Congress President Subhash Yadav was present when Mr Silawat filed his nomination.

A total of eight candidates had filed their nomination so far.

The last date for filing nomination is tomorrow, while scrutiny will take place on November 18. The names could be withdrawn latest by November 20.

BJP nominee Devendra Verma will file his nomination tomorrow.

Counting of votes will be done on December 7.

The by-election was necessitated following the murder of BJP legislator Kishorilal Verma.
