Singapore Airlines announces speacial fare to Los Angeles

Kolkata, Nov 16 (UNI) Singapore Airlines today announced a special fare structure and several other upgraded on-board facilities for passengers travelling to Los Angeles from Kolkata and back between November 15 and December 31.

Under the new promotional offer the airlines would be providing a return economy ticket to Los Angeles at Rs 33,000, a discount of 24 per cent on its current economy fare, Airlines sources said.

However, the special fare does not include additional taxes and surcharges.

Announcing the new privileges, the sources said the special offer allowed a choice of free stopovers, one in each direction in Taipei and Tokyo.

They said during the period passengers could purchase their tickets not only through their travel agents, but also through online at www.Singaporeair.com.

Presently, the Airlines operates four weekly flights to Europe and US from here.

Under the new offer, passengers could now relax in the upper cabin, get specially designed comfortable seats and enjoy sumptuous cuisine, the Airlines sources said.

Besides, the first class passengers could enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, specially introduced to suit their tastes and preferences.

Special meals would also be catered to those who require these for religious or medical reasons.

The passengers could also enjoy state-of-the-art entertainment system ''Krisworld'' on board which provides over 500 entertainment options, including major Hollywood and Bollywood flicks, the Airline officials added.
