Singapore Airlines announces special fare to LA

Kolkata, Nov 16: Singapore Airlines today announced a special fare structure and several other upgraded on-board facilities for passengers travelling to Los Angeles from Kolkata and back between November 15 and December 31.

Under the new promotional offer the airlines would be providing a return economy ticket to Los Angeles would at Rs 33 thousand, a discount of 24 per cent on its current economy fare, official sources said.

However, the special fare does not include additional taxes and surcharges.

Announcing the new privilages, Singapore Airlines sources here today said the special offer allowed a choice of free stopovers, one in each direction in Taipei and Tokyo.

They said during the period passengers could purchase their tickets not only through their travel agents, but also through online at www.Singaporeair.com.

Presently, the Airlines operate four weekly flights to Europe and USA from here.

Under the new offer, passengers could now relax in the upper cabin, get specially designed comfortable seats and enjoy scrumptious cuisine, the Airlines sources said.

Besides, the first class passengers could also enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, specially introduced to suit their tastes and preferences.

They also added that those who require special meals for religious or medical reasons would also be catered.

The passengers could also enjoy state of the art entertainment system.
