Bangalore, Nov 16 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Belthangadi, Chikballapur, Sidlaghatta 2 each, Sandur, Mulbagal, Chintamani 1 each.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until the Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Kolar, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. A spell of light rain likely. Minimum temperature would be around 19 degree celsius.
