More rains for battered coastal AP
Hyderabad, Nov 16 (UNI) More rains have been predicted in the next three days over the already flood-ravaged South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, which was slowly limping back to normalcy after the cyclonic storm 'Ogni' left a trail of destruction.
''Under the influence of the easterly wave, fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls are likely to continue over south Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next three days'', the Weather office said, addng ''isolated heavy rainfall is likely over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh''. Rains were possible over a few places over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and isolated over Rayalaseema. Mainly dry weather would prevail over Telangana, it said.
Hyderabad would have partly cloudy sky and the minimum temperature would be around 18 deg C.
The minimum temperatures were above normal over Rayalaseema, and at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The lowest minimum temperature of 15 deg C was recorded at Adilabad.
Kavali recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm followed by Seetharamapuram and Vinjamur (both Nellore dist), Tirupati AP 4 each, Nellore, Atmakur and Udayagiri (both Nellore dist), Porumamilla (Cuddapah dist), Srikalahasti(Chittoor dist) 3 each, Ongole, Kandukur Prakasam dist) Sullurpet, Tada,Venkatagiri Town(all Nellore dist), Nandyal 2 each.
