JD(U) candidate files nomination for Manihari by-election

Patna, Nov 16 (UNI) JD(U) leader Vishwanath Singh today filed his nomination for the byelection to Manihari Assembly seat.

Sources at the state election office here said that it was the first nomination paper, filed on the sixth day of filing candidature.

November 17 is the last date for filing nomination and scrutiny would take place on November 18.

The last date for withdrawal the nomination papers is November 20.

Polling is slated for December 4 and counting would take place on December 7, the sources said.
