IRP recruitment drive in Kashmir from Nov 27

Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) A massive recruitment drive in various battalions of the Indian Reserve Police (IRP) will be held in north Kashmir from November 27, an official spokesman said today.

The recruitment process of those candidates from Baramulla and Kupwara districts having applied for the post of constables in the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th battalions of the IRP would start from November 27, he added.

For the candidates of Gurez and Karnah tehsils, the spokesman said the drive would commence on November 27 at the Baramulla District Police lines.

And for Tangmarg, Pattan, Sumbal, Uri, Bandipora, Baramulla, Sopore, Handwara and Kupwara tehsils, the recruitment dates are November 28, 29 and 30, and December 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 respectively, he added.

The venue for the candidates from Kupwara district has been changed to the District Police Lines Baramulla, the spokesman said.
