Investment proposal of Rs 12,000 crores approved : Nitish

Bhagalpur, Nov 16 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said investment proposals of Rs 12,000 were approved during the current year which would accelerate the pace of development in the state.

Addressing a public meeting here, Mr Kumar said the victory of National Democratic Alliance(NDA) in the recently held by-elections for Nalanda and Bhagalpur parliamentary seats was the testimony of the fact that people were satisfied with the NDA government's performance during the last one year.'' Interests of all sections of the society would be taken care of, he assured the people.

''A new scheme of Rs 300 crores named as 'Chief Minister rural roads and culverts construction scheme' would be launched on November 20,'' he announced.

''State government has initiated several steps for improving infrastructural facilities including road, electricity, education and health care,'' he added.
