Diamond thieves remanded to police custody till Nov 30
Mumbai, Nov 16 (UNI) A local court today remanded two thieves, who had stolen diamonds worth Rs 4 crore from the house of a city jeweller, to police custody till November 30.
The duo -- Divesh Devchand Borse and Dilip Hemand Rane -- were arrested from a beer bar last night where they spending lavishly.
Police took them for interrogation on suspicion. Rs 27000 in cash and diamonds worth Rs 35 lakh were seized from their possession.
Later they confessed to the crime.
