Court frames charges against RJD MP Shahabuddin
Patna, Nov 16 (UNI) A special court today framed charges against incarcerated RJD MP Md Shahabuddin in connection with two more criminal cases.
One case is related to theft of motorcycle and four-wheelers and another was in connection with threatening of Ziradei police station incharge through a cell phone from Beur central jail.
First class judicial Magistrate and judge of the special court V V Gupta framed the charges after hearing both the parties.
Police had recovered three stolen vehicles during a raid of Md Shahabuddin's residence in the native village on April 24, 2005.
While in Beur jail last year, the RJD MP had threatened the officer-in- incharge of Ziradei police station of Siwan through a cell phone.
With the framing of charges in another two cases, the court so far framed charges in six criminal cases against Md Shahabudin, lodged in Siwan jail.
The other four cases in which charges were earlier framed are related to submission of a false affidavit during filing of nomination papers for Parliamentary election in 2004, for beating a businessman Shambhu Gupta, in connection with electricity theft and a scuffle with a deputy police Superintendent Ashwani Kumar.
