Canadian tourist arrested for bomb joke in S'pore

Singapore, Nov 16: A Singapore court has penalised a 53-year-old Canadian tourist for raising a false alarm about an Air India plane 'going to crash', according to a local media report today.

Nanda Sudhir Kumar was charged with having given a false tip-off to the police about a 'very bad guy' on board an Air India flight, which was headed for a crash, from a public phone at Singapore's Changi Airport last Monday.
